The School of Pharmacy at Iran University of Medical Sciences (IUMS) and Cobel Innovation Center have signed a cooperation agreement aimed at strengthening university–industry collaboration and creating new opportunities for innovation, research, and student development.

The agreement was reached following a joint meeting between representatives of the School of Pharmacy and Cobel’s management and innovation team, during which both sides explored opportunities for closer academic and industrial collaboration.

Key areas of cooperation include supporting university-based innovation and technology teams, developing joint projects, and promoting problem-oriented research and theses that address real-world industry needs.

The partnership also seeks to expand internship and professional development opportunities for students, providing them with greater exposure to industry environments and facilitating meaningful interaction among students, alumni, faculty members, and industry professionals.

Through this collaboration, the School of Pharmacy and Cobel Innovation Center aim to foster innovative ideas, facilitate joint academic–industry initiatives, and create new opportunities for students, faculty members, and emerging technology teams.
